Drop menu only works in firefox not chrome or IE

For some reason my menu only drops down for FireFox but it will not work in Chrome or IE can you please help? My clients cannot access the menu through their browsers. Here is my css if that helps:

Hi there, I would like to narrow the menu bar a bit and move the menu list up a bit. I tried adjusting the image, and it worked, but the menu item words area stayed wider :S

Dropshadow on Main Box

Im really loving the Broadside theme so far. Excellent work! I have just one question so far. Is there a way to just add a few simple lines of CSS/HTML code to get a drop shadow on the main content box for all the pages so there is a bit of "distance" between the front box and background throughout the entire site? I am hoping to add this element to the site but cannot figure it out. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Columns created with shortcodes need padding

There is little or no padding between columns created with shortcodes. Even in the live demo, you can see that there is no space between the words in one column and the words in the next.

How would suggest fixing this? Would it be better to set the css for the columns a little narrower (e.g., for the 1/2 columns, make each 48% instead of 50%) or to add a little padding-right to the first column?

HI

I'm trying to change the menu font color on line 63 of the standard.css file but when I do so, all the theme style changes. You can see it with this link

I've put the menu and the logo on top, in way to hide the menu divider and I've change the font color like I said before.

What can I do to apply little modification on the css? Every thing I've try seems to make unwanted changes.

Can't see menu in Firefox (mac)

I am having this problem with Broadside theme. My client cannot see the menu at all. she is using Firefox in mac. Also, when I try to inspect the code in chrome (PC), it all disappears to the top of the screen but there is no scrolling available. Can you help? the site's URL is http://es.costaricafilmworks.com/

Portfolio Type dropbox not showing

After migrating my site from local to the remote server, I cannot see the Portfolio Type box. I couldnt figure out where in the database the association between the taxonomy (if there are any) and the page/post type is.

What can I do? What should I check in the database to be sure everything regarded portfolio taxonomy is there? How can I associate them manually from the db?

Hi again, so sorry to ask this question again, but i followed the instructions on creating the portfolio page. It all works well, but my images when uploading as featured image keep showing up as question mark in stead of showing the image. I really don't understand what it is i'm doing wrong. Hi,
1. Just uploaded the new theme version and I have the following problem:
On http://archstudio.ro/projects/ when I click on an item it goes to another page.
On http://archstudio.ro/architecture-and-town-planning/ it opens the feature image.
What am I doing wrong?

2. Is there any way to remove sub-navigation for pages with children?
For example I want to use an empty page (don't ever need to show it) as parent for other pages:
Portfolio:
- Architecture And Town Planning
- Interior Design
- Furniture Design

If I setup Portfolio as an empty page container and I go to AATP, I will get the sub-navigation on top with Portfolio as first link, but I don't need to go to Portfolio ever.

Is there any reason I wouldn't be able to create a child theme for Broadside? I usually like to use child themes to keep my edits out of the core files.

Make blog section look like News on the PSD

I have one doubt regarded on how the news/blog section text display
can meet what is shown on the PSD (Main-Site.psd, 5_News layer). I
tried setting up the front page and the blog page to use the Blog
template: no deal. I also tried creating an Archvive page, based on
archive.php that came with the theme. Also, no deal. So, how do I make
it look like what is demonstrated in the News layer inside the PSD?
Could not find anything related to on Theme Forest comments.

images don't show in portfolio item

Hi, i'm just starting to use the broadside theme and it looks great! However i have trouble with the portfolio page and items cause somehow the image as featured images don't seem to be visible. It keeps showing a question mark. I've created a new item within the portfolio custom post. Then i created a type and portfolio page and template portfolio. I noticed two items in the update notice that would be useful to me but I can't find them in the theme: Where do I find the Portfolio Post Option? and how do I use the sub-navigation in portfolio pages?

Can't see the hierarchy of Portfolio Types in drop down in Add New Page.

Hi,

In Admin -> Pages -> Add New Page, we can select the Portfolio Type from the drop down. Even though the Portfolio Types are hierarchical like Categories, the values displayed in the drop down are flat and not hierarchical. This creates a confusion while selecting the Portfolio Type.

Can we somehow make the drop down reflect the hierarchy of the Portfolio Types like – ‘Parent, ‘Parent-child’, ‘Parent-child-child’. This will be very convenient for us to setup the site.

Background flashes black on loading

Hi there,

we're very pleased with this theme, good job! There is only one thing that we cannot resolve;
when opening a page in our website, any page, for a split second the background flashes black.
It seems like the page is loading over a black background. We looked into the .css and style.php and made sure backgrounds are on either white or transparant, but i guess we missed something because it keeps loading over a black background.
Any suggestions?

404 after changing permalink structure

Hey there, I'm installing Broadside for a client and everything works perfect. Only thing I can't get to work is the permalink structure. Very strange, never had a problem like this before. If the permalink structure is on 'Default' everything works fine, but if I change it to any other structure (I prefer 'Post name' most of the time) I only get 404s. Even if I edit a page and press 'View', it gives a 404. Weird.

For example: http://yogacentrumpuur.nl/contact/. The homepage is the only thing that works: http://yogacentrumpuur.nl/.

Hope you can help with this!
