Search function TMI

When you use the search function, it shows too much information (post snippet I believe), and can go on forever. It should show the post titles only, like all others do. How do we get this to act normally? - What coding needs changed in which file?

Recent blogs on homepage with video

Hi there,

I have a website where the client wants to be able to do both text blog posts and video blog posts and this layout has so far been ideal. However, I have discovered that on the home page, if you click on one of the video posts, it simply plays the youtube in the tiny thumbnail rather than open a lightbox as it would if it were a portfolio item. Can I get some help to rectify this so that on the home page, recent blog posts with videos in them open up in the lightbox so you can watch it properly? Thanks!

Slider image is reduced

I sized the images I want to use in the slider, but when displayed, I notice they're reduced in size, from 1040 px wide to about 930 px. And as so, do not fill the slider box - looks a bit unprofessional. See it here: http://webdesignbysteve.com/wp/. BTW: if I could have loaded an image, you could see more proof.

Custom fonts

How can I change the fonts? I see in the Appearance settings it is possible, but I do not know what to type inside the fields? Where can I find the font names to insert? I tried with some Google fonts names but it didn't work. I think this thing is not well explained in theme documentation.

Background Image Issue

Hello,

I just recently purchased your Dolphin Wordpress Theme and I absolutely love it. The only issue that I'm having, is that I'm trying to implement a background image for the for the entire body of the site except for the header. I was successful in deactivating the wood background and by getting my preferred background image to appear correctly in Chrome when I inspect element and make a few changes. However, when I insert the necessary css into the theme options area, there are still background colors overriding these changes to the body, footer and body tags. I've also tried editing the actual css files themselves. For some reason I just can't get it to work. I'm definitely not new to css, but I'm no pro either. Are you able to help me out? Is there something I'm missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Gray font

I recently bought your Dolphin theme and am quite pleased with it. But I do have a question.

The font used is rather grayed out on my screen and I wanted to make it a shade darker, but I don\'t see any font options (beyond bold, italic, etc.)

Is there any way to make adjustments?

Strangely, a portion of one of my pages (\'Critics say...\' at http://www.almaalexander.org/ ) is a mixture of slightly grayed type and darker type even though it came from the same Word document using Arial 12 pt.

Blog page link

Unlike the other pages, the blog page doesn't offer me a link back to the static/main page.

Since some people come to my blog from elsewhere they can't simply use a back arrow.

Is there anyway to put a link back to the static page from the blog page?

1. I’ve created a new portfolio post w/ featured image and “featured” category, but I can’t get it to show in the slider.
2. I’ve got the default wooden background set as my page title background, but I’m not seeing it.

Next/Previous on Portfolio switching between Types

I scanned the forums looking for the answer and didn't see what I was looking for… but found this.

Yeah, the next/previous buttons aren't aware of categories. They just go to the next/previous posts of the custom post type portfolio. The code that controls this is here:

How do I fix this code to make the next/previous stay within the same Type and ignore the "featured" images from my homepage slider? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Last Column Shortcode Issue

Column Shortcodes Not Working on Homepage Template

Another small issue. It appears the column shortcodes do not work on the homepage template option. I have double checked that they work on all other page templates and they do. So the only page with an issue is the homepage template. Thanks!

Background Issue

I am working on a website for a client and purchased the dolphin theme. Everything works great, except I can't change the background. I have tried resizing it, simply removing it, everything to no avail. I'd really prefer not editing the CSS myself, as that then makes updating more of a pain on my end. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
