1) I bought the theme through Themeforest (don't ask me why) and I'm wondering how updates are handled. On my other themes it's done through the theme options (easy), but I have seen no such thing in Galaxy. Do I have to download and upload the updated files myself, and keep control about when there's a new version?

2) I use featured photos on my posts, which looks good on the start/front page. When I click on the post this photo is also used in the post itself, taking up a lot of space. Most of the time I don't want this to be displayed. How can I remove it?

3) I have a Norwegian language pack installed and mostly everything translates alright. Some places it's still English though. For example, under a post it says "0 comments". How can I change this to my own choice? I thought this was also part of the standard language pack in Wordpress.

I hope that's not too many questions, thank you for taking the time in answering them.

So far this is working really well, however we ran into one issue: when the user clicks on one of the links in the carousel, the new page loads with the carousel reset to the beginning. Is it possible to tweak the carousel so that it remembers its position from the previous page so that the user doesn't lose there place?

Is there a way to edit slider.php so that it displays slides with pages' info (featured image/title/summary and readmore link to page), instead of posts' info?

If it cannot do that easily, then is there a way to rewrite the readmore link on each slide so it sends visitors to various pages (instead of various posts)?

Another possibility: custom code a 403 .htaccess redirect for the "featured" posts, to resend each to a page..... but that sounds so convoluted!

Im the guy that started a discussion the other day about about using theme with a service called Office AutoPilot (membership plugin called PilotPress).

So Im trying to activate it but its giving me this error...

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare register_button() (previously declared in /home/mysocial/public_html/wp-content/themes/galaxy/shortcodes.php:285) in /home/mysocial/public_html/wp-content/plugins/membership-simplified-for-oap-members-only/functions.php on line 2854

Can you please let me know what I can do to remedy this?

Is there a way we can just have 5 portfolio posts showing per page, then have a "next page" button thing? Page 1,2,3 etc.

Or another option, is there a way to turn the youtube embeds into pictures so there isn't flash loading all over the place?

1) Since I installed Galaxy I cannot embed an "iframe" in my wp page (in particular a www.issuu.com publication that previously had no problem showing in a page).

2) The footer is supposed to contain 4 widgets but no matter which on I select it does not display the 4th one in line, in other words the one bottom right as you can check yourself at (www.bergamomagazine.com)

What should I do? Thanks!

For the homepage however, I added the background manually under the Pages Options section (scrolled down), and is showing correctly. Only CSS I used with it was "no-repeat".

There's gotta be a place where I can inject some CSS to fix this right?
