Page Options Not Loading: Wordpress Backend Issue

In the page editor for new and existing pages the box at the bottom labeled "Page Editor" does not load. All I can see is the title "Page Editor" and an empty drop down box. I have reinstalled the theme twice after deactivating it and deleting it. Any help would be appreciated.

I have no idea why it wouldn't be working... google may have the answers... I would have suggested re-installing it... :(
