Background diamond texture not working

Hi there
I can't seem to get the dark theme to look and feel like the one in the demo.
On my client's website (http://scottyaphe.com) the diamond background texture doesn't show up as clearly as it does in the demo. I followed the instructions posted in this thread (http://support.progressionstudios.com/discussion/comment/1996#Comment_1996) which kind of worked but the texture is not as clear as it is in the demo and the top bar remains light grey, not dark grey as in the demo.
Can anyone help? -

Which part isn't showing up the same (I'm probably just missing something)? I'll help you out with that. Or possibly the browser cached something, have you tried another browser? -
It looks the same on my end as well...

I tried another browser (Firefox) and it's displaying fine. I cleared the cache in Chrome and it's still showing up as pale grey at the top where the announcements bar goes.....can someone check it in Chrome and make sure when the announcements bar is closed that the space behind it is the same dark grey as the rest of the page? Thanks.
