I've a problem with this theme. I follow your guide step-by-step to insert Background on Page Titles, but when I open the page it is all messed-up and the image it's not loaded. I use different png and jpg images with the requested size of 1500x250 pixels.
I see, it's just the TimThumb image resizer being blocked. You should contact your hosting provider support as the error is "Internal Server Error". They will be able to help you quickly.
You can also Try adjusting your folder permissions to 777. Set these two folders to Permissions 777 (In your ftp program, right click on the folders and change the “Ownership & Permissions” to 777, Most likely the default is set to 755):
wp-content/themes/Momento and wp-content/themes/Momento/cache
Thanks for the answer. I can't find the folder you told me and tried to change permission for timthumb.php and cache folder but it doesn't work. I found instead a workaround with timthumb that works with my hosting provider (Aruba italy): "On wordpress, download via ftp your wp-config.php file and add this line just after define ('WPLANG', ''); to allow for caching:
The page title image is not loading for me on the about page.
I recently reinstalled WordPress and everything works great except for this. I changed the file permissions to 777 on both files mentioned in your earlier post.
I get a 400 error - bad request when I direct the browser directly at the timthumb.php file
Any ideas on how to get this to work? If not, Is there a way to skip timthumbs.php since I am uploading the picture to the correct size to begin with?
Just send your hosting provider an e-mail with the link to the timthumb script. They will be able to quickly help you sort this out. Whenever the script just sends to an error, it's just your hosting provider not running the script.
Hi Mike, here's the message I received from my hosting provider. I don't get the impression that they are giving me the run around. Any help appreciated! Erich
