Removing By lines

    Hi. Can I remove or hide the "by line" info on my portfolio pages? All of my portfolio pages have the "by author on date". I see you have the ability to remove it on the index's but I dont see where I can on the actual portfolio pages. Im using this template for my online video demo reel and that would be the kiss of death for me if people see older dates.

    You should have an option for this labeled "Display Byline and Date on Portfolio Index's" under the Portfolio heading. If you want to remove it from the portfolio post page, edit the "single-portfolio.php" page.

    Delete this line of code:

    <div class="portfolio-details"><?php _e('by','progressionstudios'); ?> <?php echo the_author_meta('user_nicename',$post->post_author); ?> <?php _e('on','progressionstudios'); ?> <?php the_time('F d, Y'); ?></div>

    Awesome. Thanks for your help. Can you also let me know how I turn off the byline on the home page slider text field? (Slider Image with Text). Thanks!!

    Yeah, same set of code basically except in the slider.php file.
