Replacing images

    I am not a web designer but like to think I'm a fairly proficient amateur! Changing images in an HTML template is normally a 30 minute job for just 12 images plus thumbnails. Saving the new images with the same filename and in exactly the same folder with the same for the thumbnail images. So how come they don't show when viewing in the browser. I have even drawn lines all over one of the existing images and thumbnail and saved it but it doesn't even show the changes!! I am obviously missing something simple here but for the life of me I can't see what. Can some kind person please point me in the right direction?

    There is no trick to updating the site template. If your images aren't uploading via FTP properly, contact your hosting provider. Try editing the files on your local computer as well. Try clearing your cache if you are having trouble.

    Hi Mike... thanks for the advice. I've resolved it now and it was just that I needed to devote more time to working on the template. Thanks for coming back to me so quickly
